We are seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to lead our client's data science team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and analysts.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee data science projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.
  • Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with senior management to define the data science strategy and align it with organizational goals.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business improvements.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide guidance on data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and AI.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to share findings with leadership and other departments.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data initiatives.
    • Continuously monitor and refine data science processes and methodologies.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing data science projects and teams.
    • Preferably experience in Fintech or related industries
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
    • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
