About the job
We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Officer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accountancy principles and a strong understanding of banking relationships, cash and cost optimisation as private wealth management. You will be they key point of contact regarding day-to-day financial topics and interact with all the related local and international authorities and third-parties Your role will involve collaborating with various departments and collaborators to implement cost optimisation initiatives and enhance their wealth management practices.
As an Accounting & Finance Officer, you will provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
The successful candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, ability and willingness to work in a small team in full autonomy and a strong attention to detail. A proven track record in communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels is also required. The ideal candidate for the Accounting & Finance Officer position will have a strong background in finance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience (maximum 10). You should possess a deep understanding of the UAE accountancy principles and practices, as well as experience in managing banking relationships. Strong skills in cash optimisation and cost optimisation are essential, along with a good understanding of wealth management.
A significant experience in the contracting industry is required, having a strong understanding of projects' environment (infrastructure, EPC, construction, oil and gas, energy, advisory).
We are looking for a proactive, autonomous and hands-on finance collaborator to support the C-Suite.
