We are accelerating our development strategy in North and West-Africa and are therefore looking for a Regional Sales Director ready to bring the market insights, commercial expertise and product know-how to develop our activity in French speaking Africa.
Your main roles and responsibilities will be:
- Manage, support and coach a team of Country managers in Francophone Africa.
- Develop and maintain local Geberit setups
- Identify Business opportunities ensure long term maximisation of the Geberit position in the region.
- Develop and implement consistent, transparent and effective sales policy
- Define sales development strategy and be responsible for objectives’ achievement in terms of turnover, profitability and overall growth
- Maintain and establish distribution channels by ensuring close relationship with partner and setting up new channels
- Manage major accounts in North and West-Africa in collaboration with the local Country managers or the distribution partners: lead generation, negotiation and finalization of contracts.
- Full P&L responsibility. Monitor debtors to define and approve credit limits
- Be responsible for an awesome customer experience.
- Be up to date with market trends, customer preferences and product know-how to provide market insights to the sales teams and to the distribution partners.
- Report your activity directly to the HQ.
Your profile
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the construction or sanitary field with international experience due to temporary residence abroad or foreign nationality.
- You have a profound understanding and knowledge of North and West African construction and/or sanitary high-end market.
- You are fluent in English and French, any local language being a plus.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You are results-driven, ambitious and ready to take on responsibilities.
- You are flexible and easy to adapt to new environments
- You are ready for business trips abroad.
