  • Support a large multi-platform environment across MySQL, Oracle, and Synapse.
  • Ensure database security and governance standards are maintained at a high level.
  • Maintain integrations with group-wide applications.
  • Perform regular performance measures for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments.
  • Ensure new database designs result in high levels of performance and reliability.
  • Implement database installations and product upgrades.
  • Apply security policy lock downs.
  • Design and test database recovery scenarios.
  • Implement load-balanced architectures to minimize maintenance downtime.
  • Monitor performance of enterprise-scale databases and undertake tuning activities to improve end-user experience.
  • Manage capacity of storage.
  • Manage client communication and satisfaction.
  • Configure MySQL DR.
  • Expertise in InnoDB clustering.
  • Excellent ability in MySQL, Python, and Linux.
  • Strong knowledge in MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Experience in 24/7 and on-call environments.
  • Certification in MySQL, Oracle.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB.
  • Experience with RedHat/CentOS Linux 7+.
  • Scripting skills in at least one of the following: PowerShell, Bash.
