"Vandaag zijn wij op zoek naar gedreven Terminal Operations Manager voor een vooraanstaand bedrijf binnen Port Operations. Bij hen krijg je de kans om deel uit te maken van een dynamisch team dat zich toelegt op het leveren van efficiënte en betrouwbare logistieke dienstverlening.


Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden:


  • Je coördineert en plant alle lichter- en scheepsactiviteiten op de terminal.
  • Je stelt operationele plannen op voor de kade en schepen.
  • Je ziet toe op de naleving van het veiligheids- en milieubeleid tijdens het volledige logistieke proces.
  • Je motiveert en ondersteunt het team om gezamenlijke doelstellingen te behalen.
  • Je werkt samen met operationeel verantwoordelijken van verschillende terminals.
  • Je verbetert en optimaliseert processen, met oog voor innovatie en digitalisering.
  • Je bouwt sterke relaties op binnen de havengemeenschap en met sociale partners.
  • Je bereidt schadeclaims voor en voert eerste onderzoeken uit bij arbeidsongevallen en schadegevallen.
  • Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt klantrelaties.
  • Je rapporteert regelmatig aan de Terminal Manager.


Jouw ideale achtergrond:


  • Je bent in het bezit van een minimum secundair en/of hoger onderwijs diploma richting Logistiek Management.
  • Je hebt minimum 3 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige operationele rol (liefst binnen de maritieme/Breakbulk sector);
  • Je hebt kennis van de eigenschappen van goederen met betrekking tot opslag, behandeling en transport.
  • Je bent flexibel naar werkregime toe (shiften, permanentie, bijscholingen, infosessies, …).
  • Je bent communicatief sterk & hebt verantwoordelijkheidszin.
  • Je hebt een groot aanpassingsvermogen i.f.v. verschillende situaties.
  • Je bent klant- en kwaliteitsgericht en kan steeds meedenken met de klant.
  • Je bent prestatie- en resultaatgericht.
  • Je bent veiligheid- en milieubewust & wil het veiligheidsbeleid mee uitdragen.
