Job Description:
Ensure timely and accurate handling of cargo and related information while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Export department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure smooth and timely handling of the freight process.
· Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operational system.
· Track, trace and report on Air Export files.
· Use Tree View on a daily basis.
· Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas partners and customers
· Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
· Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
· Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, including airline carriers, trucking companies, and other partners.
· Ensure full compliance with both internal and external regulations, in accordance with government requirements.
· Understand department process flows and identify best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
· Ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPs
· Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures
· Maintain effective overseas communication and provide timely responses to emails and requests (both internal and external).
· Escalate issues to management when necessary.
· Fulfill company standards of 52 hours of training per year per employee.
· Complete all mandatory training as required.
· Promote compliance by diligently following company policies and regulations, performing tasks with integrity and professionalism.
Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
Knowledge:
- Completed company training and well-versed in internal policies.
- Strong understanding of services, systems, and procedures.
- IATA Certification is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and convey information clearly to achieve the best results.
- Pro-active and well-organized, ensuring smooth operations and efficiency.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Fluent in English
