Our client is looking for a new Legal Counsel. In their legal department, they are looking for new legal counsel to work on a new and exciting project.

The job :

• Advise on complex contracts and structures in areas such as trade finance, real estate and government grants.
• Create and update loan and guarantee documents.
• Draft model contracts.
• Maintain regular contact with internal and external clients, including lawyers and government authorities.
• Manage legal disputes, often in collaboration with external advisors.
• Keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments.
• Apply internal policies and participate in working groups within ING and external organizations.
• Identify and manage legal risks.

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Master degree in Belgian Law
• French or Dutch speaking with a good knowledge of English.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
