Our client is a prestigious international Bank looking for a new Legal Counsel. In their legal department, they are looking for new legal counsel to work on a new and exciting project.
- Conduct or oversee data protection impact assessments for new projects, products, or processes
- Mitigate risks and ensure that data protection considerations are integrated into business activities
- Review and negotiate data protection and privacy-related provisions in contracts with vendors, partners, and third parties
- Draft and/or review and negotiate data processing agreements and advise on international data transfers
- Keep up to date the Data Protection records
- Training and awareness
- Develop and maintain an effective data breach response plan
- Assist local Data Protection Single Points of contact in case breaches
- Assist in responding to data protection-related complaints and inquiries
- Preparation of the checklist send annually and the quaterly reporting
- Review of the self-assessment privacy compliance checklists and drafting of summaries
- Support internal controls and internal audits
- Preparation of the presentation to the senior management (e.g. drafting decks for annual reports to CEO / CFO)
- Drafting and implementation of an annual roadmap on the data protection matters
- Law Degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Protection
- Ability to task prioritization with clear action plan defined
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel as needed
