Essential Requirements:
- Master’s degree in cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and secure system design.
- Understanding of security systems and regulatory compliance for safety-critical environments.
- Proficient in technical documentation and regulatory reporting.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French, German, or Italian is advantageous.
Valuable Experience:
- Familiarity with railway signaling or other complex safety-critical infrastructure.
- Experience with ISO 27001 and IEC standards in transportation or industrial domains.
- Insight into security governance, validation, and compliance processes for large-scale systems.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in analytical and strategic settings, with a passion for bolstering cybersecurity in complex transportation systems. The ideal profile is defined by a methodical mindset, strong reasoning skills, and a capacity for independent work. Successful candidates demonstrate a clear aptitude for risk assessment and secure architecture, excelling in the interpretation and application of regulations and security frameworks.
- Analytical Thinker: You possess a natural ability to assess intricate systems, identify vulnerabilities, and propose effective mitigation strategies. You are detail-oriented, systematic, and draw logical conclusions from technical data.
- Autonomous and Self-Motivated: We value individuals who are comfortable working with minimal supervision, showing initiative and responsibility in managing their projects and priorities.
- Strong Communicator: You can articulate complex cybersecurity principles in clear, accessible language, enabling effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, clients, and suppliers. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French, German, or Italian is a valuable asset.
- Collaborative Attitude: You know how to work cooperatively with engineering, software, and safety experts, contributing your perspective while respecting other disciplines.
- Solid Academic or Professional Foundation: Master’s level education in cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, or related field has prepared you for high-level risk analysis and secure design. Academic experience is valued, making this role accessible to recent graduates with the right focus.
- Documentation and Compliance Minded: Candidates have experience preparing clear, precise technical documentation and reports, with a keen understanding of regulatory standards like IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
- Results-Focused: You are motivated by ensuring that cybersecurity requirements are not only defined but also validated and maintained within railway or other safety-critical environments.
- Bonus Qualities: Familiarity with railway signaling, transportation cybersecurity, or broader system validation processes is a plus. An understanding of security governance and system resilience will set you apart.
If you embody these strengths—analytical, self-driven, collaborative, and detail-oriented—we believe you will excel and make a significant impact in our cybersecurity engineering function.
